Daniel Bluman
Daniel Bluman (born 15 March 1990) is a Colombian-born Israeli Olympic show jumping rider. In July 2019 Bluman, as part of Israel's four-rider squad, qualified to represent Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Early and personal life Bluman was born in Medellín, Colombia. His father, Samuel, is an entrepreneur, and his mother, Orly, is an Israeli psychologist and social worker. He has a brother, Steven. His Polish-born Jewish grandfather on his father's side, a Holocaust survivor whose entire family was murdered, was in the Auschwitz concentration camp for three years and later emigrated to Colombia. His father's family is from Poland and Holland. His grandfather on his mother's side is Israeli, and his mother's family is from Israel and Hungary. Bluman attended Hebrew school growing up. Nelson Pessoa
Nelson Pessoa Filho (born December 16, 1935) is a Brazilian equestrian who competed in the sport of Show jumping. He was among the first Brazilian civilians to do well in the sport, as the military had dominated it in the Brazil of that era. Career highlights He competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics and came fifth in Equestrian at the 1964 Summer Olympics - Individual jumping. He moved to Europe in 1961. He won the 1966 European Show Jumping Championships and won twice at Hickstead. He came second in the 1984 Show Jumping World Cup, and in 1991 he was again second, riding Special Envoy. In 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona at 56 he was the oldest equestrian, while his 19-year-old son was the youngest. He owns a famous equestrian school at Haras du Ligny in Fleurus, Belgium. The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (, FEI) is the international governing body of equestrian sports. The FEI headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland. An FEI code of conduct protects the welfare of the horses from physical abuse or doping. Early life Her father is Steve Bond (né Shlomo Goldberg). He was born and raised in Haifa, Israel, and moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. Her mother, Cindy, is a filmmaker, and she has one younger sibling, her brother Dylan. Riding career Bond began competing at the age of six, won her first grand prix at age 16, and in 2001 was named Grand Prix Rookie Rider of the Year by both the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and the Pacific Coast Horse Association. Equestrian At The 2015 Pan American Games
Equestrian competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from July 11 to 25 at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave. The cross-country portion of eventing took place at nearby Will O' Wind Farm (Pan Am Cross-Country Centre), which is located in Mono. 2018 World Equestrian Games
The 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games were held in Mill Spring, North Carolina, U.S. at the Tryon International Equestrian Center, from September 11 to September 23, 2018. It was the eighth edition of the games, which are held every four years and run by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI).
