Daniel Bergman
Daniel Sebastian Bergman (; born 7 September 1962) is a Swedish film director. He is the son of Ingmar Bergman and Käbi Laretei. As a child, Bergman appeared in a 1967 Swedish program called ''Stimulantia'', which consisted of eight episodes, one of which was directed by his father Ingmar. The short, 10-minute film focuses on the first two years of Daniel's life. His mother Käbi is also seen. He was the assistant director of Andrei Tarkovsky on ''Offret'' ('' The Sacrifice'', 1986). Danderyd Municipality
Danderyd Municipality (''Danderyds kommun''; ) is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It is one of the smallest municipalities of Sweden, but the most affluent. Its seat is located in Djursholm and it is located within Stockholm urban area. The "old" rural municipality Danderyd was split up during the early 20th century, when Djursholm and Stocksund broke away in 1901 and 1910 respectively. Since 1971 Danderyd Municipality is reunified in approximately the old boundaries. The population in 2019 was 32,857. Ernst-Hugo Alfred Järegård (12 December 1928 – 6 September 1998) was a Swedish actor. Biography Järegård was born in Ystad. He received his acting training at Malmö City Theatre. ''Sunday's Children'' ( sv, Söndagsbarn) is a 1992 Swedish drama film directed by Daniel Bergman and written by Ingmar Bergman. At the 28th Guldbagge Awards the film won the award for Best Cinematography (Tony Forsberg) and Thommy Berggren was nominated for Best Actor. Ingmar based his screenplay for ''Sunday's Children'' on the life of his father, Church of Sweden minister Erik Bergman. Author Geoffrey MacNab wrote that whereas Ingmar's recollections of Erik are damning in his 1982 film ''Fanny and Alexander'', his 1991–92 study of his father is "far more forgiving" in ''The Best Intentions'' and ''Sunday's Children''. ''Brenda Brave'' (original title: ''Kajsa Kavat'') is a 1989 Swedish film directed by Daniel Bergman and based on the 1950 novel '' Brenda Brave Helps Grandmother'' by Astrid Lindgren. Go'natt Herr Luffare is a 1988 Swedish film directed by Daniel Bergman and based on the novel of the same name by Astrid Lindgren. Plot One night Sven, Anna and Stina have to stay home alone as their parents go to a funeral. Before the parents leave, they warn their children not to open the door to anybody and certainly not to a tramp. The children promise that. When Sven goes outside to check on the cat, he forgets to close the front door when entering. When it knocks outside the door, Sven automatically says "Come in". Ernst Ingmar Bergman (14 July 1918 – 30 July 2007) was a Swedish film director, screenwriter, Film producer, producer and playwright. The Sacrifice (1986 Film)
''The Sacrifice'' ( sv, Offret) is a 1986 drama film written and directed by Andrei Tarkovsky. Starring Erland Josephson, the film was produced by the Swedish Film Institute. Many of the crew were alumni of Ingmar Bergman's films. ''The Sacrifice'' centers on a middle-aged intellectual who attempts to bargain with God to stop an impending nuclear holocaust. The film combines pagan and Christian religious themes; Tarkovsky called it a "parable". ''The Sacrifice'' was Tarkovsky's third film as a Soviet expatriate, after ''Nostalghia'' and the documentary ''Voyage in Time'', and he died shortly after its completion. He was diagnosed with cancer after making of the film, and by 1986 was unable to attend its presentation at the Cannes Film Festival due to his illness. Karin Beate "Linn" Ullmann (born 9 August 1966) is a Norwegian author and journalist. A prominent literary critic, she also writes a column for Norway's leading morning newspaper and has published six novels.
