Danick Martel
Danick Martel (born December 12, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing under contract with the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League (AHL). He has previously played in the NHL for the Philadelphia Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning. Playing career As a youth, Martel played in the 2007 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Drummondville Voltigeurs minor ice hockey team. During the 2014–15 season, while playing with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)'s Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, Martel scored 48 goals and 54 assists, and was named to the QMJHL First All-Star Team. He was further honoured when he was named the 2014–15 CHL Humanitarian of the Year. Unselected in any NHL Entry Draft, Martel signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on March 10, 2015. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are a professional ice hockey team based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The team competes in the American Hockey League (AHL) and serves as the primary development team for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League. The NHL Entry Draft (french: Repêchage d'entrée dans la LNH) is an annual meeting in which every franchise of the National Hockey League (NHL) systematically select the rights to available ice hockey players who meet draft eligibility requirements (North American players 18–20 years old and European/international players 18–21 years old; all others enter the league as unrestricted free agents). The NHL Entry Draft is held once every year, generally within two to three months after the conclusion of the previous regular season. The 2020–21 AHL season was the 85th season of the American Hockey League. Due to the ongoing restrictions in the COVID-19 pandemic, the start of the regular season was pushed back to February 5, 2021, and the league championship Calder Cup was not awarded for the second consecutive season. Anthony Greco
Anthony Greco (born September 30, 1993) is an American professional ice hockey forward for Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Early life Greco was born on September 30, 1993, in Queens, New York to parents Paul and Mary Jane. His mother is a retired nurse while his father served as a member of the New York City Fire Department and suffered illnesses and conditions following his efforts during the September 11 attacks. While his father played baseball in college, Greco grew up a fan of the New York Rangers. The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. Cédric Paquette (born August 13, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
