Dane Belton
Dane Belton (born December 7, 2000) is an American football safety for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa. Early life and high school Belton grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended Jesuit High School. Belton was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Iowa from over 25 scholarship offers. College career Belton played in eight games with four starts during his freshman season. As a sophomore, he had 33 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, five passes broken up, and one forced fumble. Belton was named first-team All-Big Ten Conference as a junior after recording 46 tackles with three tackles for loss and breaking up seven passes with five interceptions. Davis Compton Mills (born October 21, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Stanford and was selected by the Texans in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Mills became Houston's starter during his first season and set the franchise record for rookie passing yards. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991.
