Dancing With The Stars (Irish Series 5)
''Dancing with the Stars'' returned for a fifth series on 9 January 2022 on RTÉ One. This was the first series in two years after the show was put on a year-long hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. On 12 November 2021, it was announced that the show would return in the New Year with Nicky Byrne and Jennifer Zamparelli returning as hosts for a fifth and third series, respectively. It was also confirmed that Brian Redmond and Loraine Barry return as judges, however, Julian Benson did not. Armenian-born choreographer and creative director, Arthur Gourounlian joined the judging panel in Benson's place. It was also confirmed that the series would start with twelve celebrities, rather than eleven as it had been for the previous four installments. This series also saw professional dancers, Giulia Dotta, Kai Widdrington, Robert Rowiński and Ryan McShane depart the show. Nina Carberry
Nina Carberry (born 19 July 1984) is a retired Irish female National Hunt jockey. She hails from a racing family and is the daughter of jockey Tommy Carberry. Career Carberry got her first Cheltenham Festival win in 2005 on Dabiroun in the Fred Winter Juvenile Novices' Handicap Hurdle. It was the first time in 18 years that a female jockey won a race at the Cheltenham Festival. In 2005/06, she became Irish Qualified Rider Champion for the first time and repeated the feat the next season. Ryan McShane
Ryan McShane (born 22 January 1985) is a Northern Irish dancer and Choreography (dance), choreographer. He, alongside his professional partner, Ksenia Zsikhotska, were the 2016 United Kingdom & British Latin Professional Champions and British Show Dance Champions. He is also known as being one of the professional dancers on the Dancing with the Stars (Irish TV series), Irish version of ''Dancing with the Stars''. Ellen Keane
Ellen Keane (born 6 April 1995) is an Irish Paralympic swimmer and gold medallist competing in S9, SM9 and SB8 classification events. Maurizio Benenato (born 25 March 1991) is an Italian ballroom and Latin dancer and choreographer. Early life Benenato began dancing at the age of five, specialising in both ballroom and Latin disciplines.
