Petra Linnea Paula Marklund (; born 12 September 1984), known also by her previous stage name September, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and television presenter. Marklund started recording in professional studios around the age of twelve, and first came to the attention of the music scene with September's debut single " La La La (Never Give It Up)" in 2003, released from her studio album ''September'' (2004). ''In Orbit'' is the second studio album by Petra Marklund, performing as September. It was released on 26 October 2005 by Catchy Tunes, making it September's first album with the label. The album was supported by three singles; "Satellites", " Looking for Love" and " Cry for You", all which reached at top twenty in Sweden, and two promotional singles; "Flowers on the Grave" and "It Doesn't Matter". The album debuted and peaked at 17 on the Swedish Album Chart, and peaked at 36 on the Finnish Album Chart. The album is a compilation of tracks from her second and third European studio albums, titled '' In Orbit'' and ''Dancing Shoes'', respectively, but not from her original, 2004 album, ''September''. The album was the first album by September to be released in the United States, Canada and Australasia. Release September initially released the album under the American dance label Robbins Entertainment on 26 February 2008. The album was digitally released in Canada in the summer of 2008. This edition's track list is the same as that of the US edition, with the exception of "Cry for You", for which the UK radio version was used.
