Dance Dance (film)
''Dance Dance'' is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language dance film, directed and produced by Babbar Subhash. The film is a musical and stars Mithun Chakraborty, Smita Patil, and Mandakini (actress), Mandakini . It also stars Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, and Om Shivpuri in supporting roles. It is about a brother and sister who try to find success and become big singers. Several scenes follow very closely those from the film ''Fast Forward (film), Fast Forward'', directed by Sidney Poitier. Plot Radha and Ramu are siblings. Their parents Shyam and Sita are singers. Once, Shyam and Sita go to perform in Jalpaiguri to earn some money, since they are in a poor status and they have to pay a monthly rent. While performing in Jalpaiguri wearing sexy and revealing clothes, Sita catches the eye of a rich and powerful man called A.M. Singh. He stops them mid-way home, kills Shyam and rapes Sita. Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty (born Gouranga Chakraborty; 16 June 1950) is an Indian actor, producer and politician who predominantly worked in Hindi and Bengali language films. He is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is the recipient of three National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for his acting performance. Chakraborty made his acting debut with the art house drama ''Mrigayaa'' (1976), for which he won his first National Film Award for Best Actor. Chakraborty played Jimmy in the 1982 film ''Disco Dancer'', which was commercially successful in India and the Soviet Union, the first film in India to gross Rs.100 crore. Chandrashekhar (actor)
Chandrashekhar Vaidya (7 July 1922 – 16 June 2021), known simply as Chandrashekhar, was an Indian actor and filmmaker working in the Bollywood film industry. He was best known for playing supporting characters in films starring Rajesh Khanna in lead roles and later for playing Arya Sumant in the epic television series Ramayan. He died of age-related illness on 16 June 2021, at the age of 98, though some news sources incorrectly listed his age as 97. Early life Chandrashekhar was born in Hyderabad on 7 July 1922. He dropped out of college, and moved to Bombay in the early 1940s. He had a diploma in western dancing from the UK. UB40
UB40 are an English reggae and pop band, formed in December 1978 in Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984 were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group. UB40 have sold over 70 million records worldwide. ''Naam Shabana'' () is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and written by Neeraj Pandey.
