Danbury Hat Tricks
The Danbury Hat Tricks are a professional ice hockey team based in Danbury, Connecticut. The team is a member of the Federal Prospects Hockey League and plays at the Danbury Ice Arena. History The Danbury Hat Tricks were announced as a member of the Federal Prospects Hockey League on May 7, 2019. Former FHL player Billy McCreary was announced a general manager and head coach. The team is owned by DP 110 LLC, the same group that had recently purchased the Danbury Ice Arena. The first signings by the team were goaltender Jordan Brant and defenseman Kruz Listmayer. Listmayer is the nephew of Hat Tricks co-owner and former NHLer Colton Orr. The Hat Tricks are the third FHL/FPHL team to have played in Danbury, the previous being the Whalers and Titans. The five stars in the Hat Tricks logo refer to the five previous professional teams to have played in the city; the others being the Trashers, Stars and Mad Hatters. The Columbus River Dragons are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Georgia. The team is a member of the Federal Prospects Hockey League and plays at the Columbus Civic Center. History In 2017, the Columbus Cottonmouths, a longtime Civic Center tenant, folded after 21 years. This left the Civic Center without a hockey tenant for the first time in its existence. David MacIsaac
David MacIsaac (born April 23, 1972) is a former professional ice hockey player and hockey coach from Cambridge, Massachusetts. MacIsaac established his footing in the ice hockey industry when he won the NCAA championship with the University of Maine in 1992–93. He was also selected for the Hockey East All-Rookie team that season. During his collegiate career, MacIsaac majored in physical education with a concentration in teaching and coaching. In 1995, MacIsaac began his professional hockey career in the International Hockey League. He played more than 750 professional games before moving on to the NHL's primary feeder league, the American Hockey League. The El Paso Rhinos are a junior ice hockey organization based in El Paso, Texas. Their home games are played at the County Events Center located within the El Paso County Coliseum complex. The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is one of the top junior hockey leagues in the United States and is in its 48th season of operation in 2022–23.
