Danapur Railway Station or Danapur Junction, station code DNR, is a large railway station and headquarters of Danapur railway division of East Central Railway zone, East Central Railway. Danapur is connected to metropolitan areas of India by the Howrah–Delhi main line, Delhi–Kolkata main line via Patna–Mughalsarai section, Mughalsarai–Patna route. It is in Khagaul city about 6 km from Dinapur Cantonment, Danapur Cantonment, in Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar. Danapur Cantonment or Danapur Cantt is a cantonment town in Patna District in the state of Bihar, India. Danapur is a category II Cantonment, established in 1765. The board consists of 14 members including 7 elected members. Danapur cantonment located on the outskirts of Patna is the second oldest cantonment in India, after Barrackpur Cantonment, West Bengal. Aryabhata (ISO: ) or Aryabhata I (476–550 CE) was an Indian mathematician and astronomer of the classical age of Indian mathematics and Indian astronomy. Its duties correspond to those of the District Police in the areas under their jurisdiction, such as patrolling, but only on railway property. Howrah Railway Station
Howrah railway station, also known as Howrah Junction, is a railway station located in the city of Howrah, West Bengal, India. It is also the oldest and largest existing railway complex in India. It is one of the busiest train stations in the world (second busiest in India after Sealdah). About 600 passenger trains pass through the station each day, utilising its 24 platforms, and serving more than one million passengers per day.
