Dan Taylor (born December 19, 1967, in Orange, California) is a published writer, editor, and independent publisher. Early life Dan Taylor was born in Orange, California. He attended Huntington Beach High School. He studied Radio/Television/Film at California State University, Long Beach. Career Dan Taylor began writing and creating comic books in 2001 with the independently published ''Super Hero Happy Hour'' through his own publishing company GeekPunk. The parody superhero comic spawned three additional issues, as well as a collected trade paperback, and an anthology, before dropping the "Super" from the title due to a trademark concerns with the term "super hero." Taylor and ''Hero Happy Hour'' co-creator Chris Fason have also published the all-color graphic novel ''Hero Happy Hour: On The Rocks'' and ''Hero Happy Hour Vs. The Supreme Leader''. Orange is a city located in North Orange County, California. It is approximately north of the county seat, Santa Ana, California, Santa Ana. Huntington Beach High School
Huntington Beach High School (HBHS) is a public high school in Huntington Beach, California. Built in 1906, it is part of the Huntington Beach Union High School District. HBHS is a California Distinguished School. Huntington Beach High School is also the home of the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts. Campus Huntington Beach High School bell tower and auditorium were originally built in 1903 and were rebuilt in 1926. In July 2009, renovations were completed on the auditorium and the bell tower. Construction was also completed on the school's performing arts classrooms building and courtyard. The project was funded through taxes. Sports The school competes in the Sunset League. Like ''The Tick'' and, less satirically, ''Watchmen'', it takes place in a universe of vaguely familiar costumed crime fighters.
