Dan Spătaru (footballer)
Dan Spătaru (born 24 May 1994) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays for Polish II liga club Radunia Stężyca. Club career In February 2015, Zimbru Chișinău loaned Spătaru to Romanian club Astra Giurgiu, until the end of the 2015–16 season. He was permanently transferred to Romanian club Dinamo București, on 28 February 2017. In July 2017, after his contract with Dinamo was terminated, Spătaru signed with another Liga I team: Politehnica Iași, on a two-year deal. On 29 December 2020, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Spătaru on a free-transfer after his FC Noah contract expired. On 9 January 2021, Ararat-Armenia announced that Spătaru had left the club after his contract had expired. On 1 February 2022, Spătaru returned to FC Noah. Fotbal Club Zimbru Chișinău, commonly known as Zimbru Chișinău or simply Zimbru, is a Moldovan professional Association football, football club based in Chișinău, which competes in the Moldovan Super Liga, the highest tier of Football in Moldova, Moldovan football. Founded in the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1947, Zimbru entered the Soviet Top League in 1956 and totalled eleven participations before their last relegation in 1983. Moldova National Football Team
The Moldova national football team ( ro, Echipa națională de fotbal a Moldovei) represents Moldova in international football and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. Moldova's home ground is Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău and their head coach is Serghei Cleșcenco. Shortly before the break-up of the Soviet Union, they played their first match against Georgia on 2 July 1991. Two of their three best results in the 1990s came during the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 1996, with wins over Georgia (1–0) in Tbilisi and Wales (3–2) in Chișinău. The Cupa Ligii ( en, League Cup) was Romania's secondary club football tournament. Like the Cupa României, it was played on a knockout (single elimination) basis. History It is unclear when the competition was first created, as there are no official recordings. It probably started sometime after 1990, but there may already have been an edition as early as 1978. Cupa Ligii was meant to shorten the break between the end of the league season and the start of a major international competition. It had a friendly character and was last played in 2000 before being dropped. The 2013–14 Moldovan Cup is the 23rd season of the Moldovan annual Association football, football tournament. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
