Dan McHale
Dan McHale (born 1979) is an American college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Eastern Kentucky University from 2015 to 2018. McHale, a native of Chatham, New Jersey, graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2001 and was a student basketball manager there. He was a staff assistant at Louisville from 2002 to 2004. McHale spent a season at Manhattan as the director of operations before returning to Louisville as the director of video operations. In 2007, he was hired as an assistant at Iona under Kevin Willard. McHale recruited Scott Machado to Iona and helped the team to 21 wins in his third season. He followed Willard to Seton Hall in 2010. He was hired at Minnesota in 2013 and spent two seasons as an assistant there, earning an NIT title in his first. New Mexico Lobos Basketball
The New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represents the University of New Mexico, competing in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in NCAA Division I. The university established basketball as a varsity sport in 1899 and began competing with regional colleges after establishing an athletics department in 1920. Lobo basketball first achieved national prominence after Bob King was hired as head coach in 1962. King transformed a moribund program into a consistent winner and produced future ABA MVP Mel Daniels. The Lobos won the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championship in 1964 and 1968, making frequent appearances in national rankings. The team reached the NIT tournament final in 1964 and received its first bid to the NCAA tournament in 1968. Rick Pitino
Richard Andrew Pitino (born September 18, 1952) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach for Iona College. He was also the head coach of Greece's senior national team. He has been the head coach of several teams in NCAA Division I and in the NBA, including Boston University (1978–1983), Providence College (1985–1987), the New York Knicks (1987–1989), the University of Kentucky (1989–1997), the Boston Celtics (1997–2001), the University of Louisville (2001–2017), and Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and EuroLeague (2018–2020). Pitino led Kentucky to an NCAA championship in 1996. He is the only coach to lead three different schools (Providence, Kentucky, and Louisville) to a Final Four.
