Dan Mason (born Daniel Grassman; February 9, 1857 – July 6, 1929) was an American actor. He appeared in more than one hundred films from 1913 to 1929. Plot As described in a review in a film magazine, a new bride persuades her mother and a woman friend to join with her in leaving their husbands until they agree to a fifty-fifty split on their wages. The husbands rebel and decide to keep house for themselves, while the wives go to a big boarding house. Eventually, after the women have almost eaten their hearts out with longing, and a vamp has succeeded in complicating matters, reconciliations occur after the recalcitrant husbands have thoroughly sickened of their attempts to show their independence. He becomes "Conductor 1492" on a trolley car belonging to a system which both the president and vice-president are struggling to gain control. The final outcome of this fight depends on two shares of stock which are missing and which if not found will bring disgrace to President Connelly.
