Career In 2014 Macarthur shot ''Yennai Arindhaal'' starring Ajith Kumar Directed by Gautham Menon which was released in over 1000 cinemas worldwide and was received very highly by audiences and critics with Macarthur's cinematography praised for bringing a Hollywood look to Tamil cinema. Biography Melanie (Mel) Poole is an Australian director, producer and writer. She is also the co-founder of film production company 18 Degrees Films (18 Degrees Entertainment) based in Queensland. "Blow Up the Pokies" is a song by Australian band, The Whitlams, released in May 2000 as the second single from their fourth studio album, ''Love This City'', it peaked at number 21 on the ARIA Singles Chart. In January 2018, as part of Triple M's "Ozzest 100", the 'most Australian' songs of all time, "Blow Up the Pokies" was ranked number 84. Song Meaning The lyrics written by lead singer Tim Freedman were a statement on the destruction he saw in original Whitlams bassist Andy Lewis's life due to his gambling. The original music and some lyrics were written by Greta Gertler. The song was originally called "Dwell" before being later adapted by Freedman. ''Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada'' () is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language romantic action thriller film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Gautham Vasudev Menon (born 25 February 1973) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor who predominantly works in Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry. ''Yennai Arindhaal'' () is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film stars Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and Arun Vijay and revolves around a former police officer who tries to protect a young woman from a vengeful criminal linked to his past. John Butler Trio
The John Butler Trio are an Australian roots/rock band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler, an APRA and ARIA-award-winning musician. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums, Gavin Shoesmith on bass and John Butler on vocals. By 2009, the trio consisted of Butler with Byron Luiters on bass and Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, the latter being replaced by Grant Gerathy in 2013.
