Dan Lewis (birth unknown – death unknown) was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s and 1910s. He played at representative level for Wales and Welsh League XIII, and at club level for Merthyr Tydfil and York, as a forward (prior to the specialist positions of; ), during the era of contested scrums. Daniel Lewis (footballer)
Daniel Paul Lewis (born 18 June 1982) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Brackley Town. Career Born in Redditch, Worcestershire, Lewis played for the youth team of Alvechurch and went on to play for Bromsgrove Sunday team Garringtons, where he conceded 40 goals in 37 games. He left in 2002 for Studley and forced his way into the team, but had a trial at Kidderminster Harriers and joined them in May 2004. His Football League debut came in a 3–0 defeat to Northampton Town on 7 May 2005. He went on to make 15 appearances in the Conference National the following season, after which he joined Moor Green in the Conference North. After one season with Moor Green, he joined hometown club Redditch United in July 2007. He re-signed for Kidderminster on a one-year contract on 10 May 2010. Daniel Lewis (born April 3, 1976) is a Canadian former volleyball player, a member of Canada men's national volleyball team, bronze medallist at the 2011 NORCECA Championship, bronze medallist at the 2015 Pan American Games, as well as a double Polish Champion, four-time Slovenian Champion. Career Lewis played at the University of Manitoba for the Bisons for five seasons from 1995 to 2001. In the 1995–96 season, he was named the CIAU men's volleyball Rookie of the Year and won the 1996 CIAU championship while being named the Championship MVP. He finished his university career much like how he started it, by winning the CIAU national championship as a member of the Bisons in 2001. Daniel Lewis (11 December 1902 – 1965) was a Welsh football goalkeeper, who is most notable for his time playing for Arsenal. He kept goal for Arsenal in the 1927 FA Cup Final where a mistake by him saw Cardiff City win the cup. Playing career Born in Maerdy, Glamorgan, Lewis first played for local clubs, before moving to London and joining Clapton Orient. His move to the big time came in 1924 when he joined First Division Arsenal. He made his debut for the Gunners on 15 November 1924 against Everton; Arsenal won 3–2 and Lewis remained for the next thirteen games.
