Daniel M. Kaiser (born December 31, 1980, in Saint Paul, Minnesota) is an American politician and a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives representing District 3 since January 11, 2013. South Dakota Legislature
The South Dakota State Legislature is the legislative branch of the government of South Dakota. It is a bicameral legislative body, consisting of the South Dakota Senate, which has 35 members, and the South Dakota House of Representatives, which has 70 members. The two houses are similar in most respects; the Senate alone holds the right to confirm gubernatorial appointments to certain offices. In addition, the Senate votes by roll call vote, whereas the larger house uses an electronic voting system. The legislature meets at the South Dakota State Capitol in Pierre. It begins its annual session of the second Tuesday of January each year. The legislative session lasts 40 working days in odd-numbered years, and 35 days working days in even numbered years. Elaine Elliott (politician)
Elaine Elliott (born October 24, 1955) is a former head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of Utah. During a year-long leave of absence to consider retirement, former Assistant Coach Anthony Levrets took over as head coach. She is the winningest basketball coach in school history, having compiled a career record of 582–234 (.713). She has led the Utes to 15 appearances in NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2006. The Utes came within 3 points of knocking out the eventual National Champions, the Maryland Terrapins. She has recorded nineteen 20-win seasons as well.
