Dan Fredenburgh
Dan Fredenburgh is a British actor and screenwriter known for '' The Bourne Ultimatum'' (2007), ''Love Actually'' (2003) and the role of John Knightley in the BBC's adaptation of '' Emma'' (2009). Since graduating from The Arts Educational School, he has worked in film, theatre and television for more than 20 years. As a screenwriter, Fredenburgh has written a number of feature and TV projects. Notably, the film Broken Lines., starring Paul Bettany, Doraly Rosa and Olivia Williams, which was selected for the Venice Film Festival and London Film Festival and nominated for the FIPRESCI Critics’ Prize. Clapham () is a suburb in south west London, England, lying mostly within the London Borough of Lambeth, but with some areas (most notably Clapham Common) extending into the neighbouring London Borough of Wandsworth. History Early history The present day Clapham High Street is on the route of a Roman road. The road is recorded on a Roman monumental stone found nearby. According to its inscription, the stone was erected by a man named Vitus Ticinius Ascanius. It is estimated to date from the 1st century. The Knock
''The Knock'' is a British television crime drama, created by Anita Bronson and broadcast on ITV, which portrayed the activities of customs officers from the London City & South Collection Investigation Unit of HM Customs and Excise. The series derived its name from the distinctive "''Knock knock knock''" command used over the radio to synchronise a raid. Five series were broadcast from 10 April 1994, until 11 November 2000. 37 episodes were made. ''The Spies of Warsaw'' is a 2008 spy novel by Alan Furst about espionage involving the major nations shortly before World War II competing for influence and control over the future of Poland. The story starts in October 1937 and ends in May 1938, with a one paragraph description outlining the future of the two lead characters. Adaptation The book was adapted for television in 2013, with the title '' Spies of Warsaw'', a co-production of TVP1, BBC Four, BBC America, and ARTE, and premiered in January in the United Kingdom and in April in the United States. Donovan Phillips Leitch (born 10 May 1946), known mononymously as Donovan, is a Scottish musician, songwriter, and record producer. He developed an eclectic and distinctive style that blended folk, jazz, pop, psychedelic rock and world music (notably calypso). He has lived in Scotland, Hertfordshire (England), London, California, and—since at least 2008—in County Cork, Ireland, with his family.
