Dan Falzon
Dan Falzon (born 24 November 1972) is an Australian actor of Maltese descent, best known for his role as Rick Alessi on the television soap opera ''Neighbours''. He also appeared in the Channel Nine drama '' The Alice'', as a park ranger. He also formed the short-lived pop group Milk with his brother, releasing the single "Seventeen" in 1997. Currently he is employed by St John Ambulance (NT) Inc. as a paramedic in Alice Springs Alice Springs ( aer, Mparntwe) is the third-largest town in the Northern Territory of Australia. Rick Alessi
Rick Alessi is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Dan Falzon. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 8 June 1992. Rick and his family were introduced to the show following several cast departures. The character remained on-screen until 9 March 1995. Casting The Alessi family were introduced in 1992 following the announced departures of several regular characters. The family were the first "truly ethnic" group to be introduced into the cast. Falzon was seventeen when he won the role of Rick. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. The Seven Network commissioned the show following the success of Watson's earlier soap '' Sons and Daughters.'' The Alice (film)
''The Alice'' is an Australian drama film created by Justin Monjo and Robyn Sinclair. It is set in the central outback town of Alice Springs. The made-for-TV movie was followed by a regular TV series, which proved less popular than the film and was cancelled by the Nine Network. The entire series and the original TV movie have since been released on DVD. Plot The approach of a solar eclipse has drawn various people from all directions to Alice Springs, an Australian town in the Northern Territory, nearby which is the best point for observation. St John Ambulance Australia (also known as St John) (SJAA) is a charitable organisation, dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger. It is part of an international organisation that consists of eight priories that form the Order of St John.
