Dan Enright
Daniel Enright (né Ehrenreich; August 30, 1917 – May 22, 1992) was an American television producer, primarily of game shows. Enright worked with Jack Barry from the 1940s until Barry's death in 1984. They were partners in creating programs for radio and television. Their company was called Barry & Enright Productions. Enright (original surname Ehrenreich), who grew up in British Palestine and New York City, met up with Barry as the latter was working in stand-up comedy. After a stint at WOR radio, the two developed several early TV shows, including the seminal "interactive" show ''Winky Dink and You'', as well as ''Juvenile Jury'' and ''Life Begins at Eighty'', and ''Wisdom of the Ages''. Jack Barry (game Show Host)
Jack Barry (born Jack Barasch; March 20, 1918 – May 2, 1984) was an American game show host, television personality and executive who made a name for himself in the game show field. Barry served as host of several game shows in his career, many of which he developed along with Dan Enright as part of their joint operation Barry & Enright Productions. Barry's reputation became tarnished due to his involvement in the 1950s quiz show scandals and the ensuing fallout affected his career for over a decade. Early life and career Barry was born and raised in Lindenhurst, New York, on Long Island. His family was Jewish. Geritol is a United States trademarked name for various dietary supplements, past and present. Geritol is a brand name for several vitamin complexes plus iron or multimineral products in both liquid form and tablets, containing from 9.5 to 18 mg of iron per daily dose. Jay Wolpert (January 29, 1942 – January 3, 2022) was an American television producer and screenwriter. Life and career Wolpert was born in The Bronx, New York City. His first television appearance came as a contestant on the original version of ''Jeopardy!'' in 1969. He competed in the ''Jeopardy!'' Tournament of Champions that year and won. Wolpert's upset win was notable for defeating the two highest-winning contestants in regular ''Jeopardy!'' play up to that point, Jane Gschwend and Elliot Shteir. ''All About Faces'' was a weekly game show which ran from August 30, 1971, to September 1972. The series incorporated a "hidden camera" format similar to ''Candid Camera''. The program was produced in Toronto by Screen Gems, at the studios of CFTO-TV in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario. Richard Hayes was host, and the show's producer was Dan Enright. The show was short-lived, lasting only one season in U.S. television syndication and on Canada's CTV. ''The Reel Game'' was an American game show that aired on Monday nights on ABC from January 18 to May 3, 1971. The series was hosted by Jack Barry and announced by Jack Clark. This show marked Barry's return to producing shows for national television after his 13-year hiatus from television after the quiz show scandals of the 1950s. Gameplay Three contestants competed in a quiz game in which the answers come from film clips. The contestants were given $250 to start, then they were given a subject after which they wagered any part of their current score (all wagers had to made in $25 increments). Dennis Wholey (born July 2, 1939) is an American television host and producer, and the author of a number of self-help books, one of which was a ''New York Times'' bestseller.
