Dan Casey (footballer)
Dan Casey (born 29 October 1997) is an Irish association football player who plays as a defender for club Motherwell. Early life Casey was born in County Dublin and played his underage football for St Joseph’s Boys in south county Dublin. Before committing to football, he played Gaelic football for Cuala CLG. He also played rugby football for his school C.B.C. Monkstown, where his grandfather and Ireland national rugby union team international Patrick Casey attended. Career Youth Casey spent four years with the academy team at Sunderland, after joining in 2013. Bohemians On 11 July 2017, Casey returned to Ireland, joining League of Ireland Premier Division side Bohemians. Cork City For the 2019 season, Casey moved to Cork City. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs. First held in 1946–47, it is the oldest national League Cup in existence. The competition had a straight knockout format but became a group and knockout competition from 2016–17. The League of Ireland Cup ( ga, Corn Sraithe na hÉireann), also referred to in Ireland as the 'League Cup', is an annual knockout competition in men's football in the Republic of Ireland. It is contested by League of Ireland clubs and invited clubs from the lower levels of the Republic of Ireland football league system. It has been sponsored by Electronic Arts and branded the EA Sports Cup since 2009. The competition began in 1973–74, replacing the League of Ireland Shield and the Dublin City Cup. It has had several formats since its inception and has been a knock-out competition since 2005. As there is no European qualification for winners of the League of Ireland Cup, it has a lower status than the FAI Cup and is therefore seen as the third most important trophy in the Irish playing season. The Scottish Premiership, known as the cinch Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish Premiership was established in July 2013, after the SPFL was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Exploria Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida. The stadium is located along West Church Street in the Parramore neighborhood west of Downtown Orlando.
