Dan Carey (lacrosse)
Dan Carey (born April 23, 1982) is a former professional lacrosse player and current general manager and vice-president of lacrosse operations of the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League. Carey previously served as the general manager of the Colorado Mammoth. Carey played six seasons in the National Lacrosse League for both the Colorado Mammoth and the Toronto Rock. Carey was selected in the first round (seventh overall) by the Mammoth in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft after playing one season at Canisius College. Carey played three full seasons and part of a fourth before a concussion during a Major Series Lacrosse game forced him to miss part of the 2009 and all of the 2010 NLL seasons. Carey returned to the Mammoth during the 2011 season, scoring 13 goals and 22 assists in 12 games. In July 2011, Carey was traded to the Toronto Rock for Creighton Reid and Mat McLeod. Daniel De Mussenden Carey (born 24 December 1969) is an English record producer, songwriter, mixer and remixer. He owns his own studio in South London and runs the record label Speedy Wunderground. In 2014, Carey received two Mercury Prize nominations for his production work on two nominated albums: ''Everybody Down'' by Kae Tempest and '' First Mind'' by Nick Mulvey. In 2019, Carey earned two further Mercury Prize nominations for his production work on the albums '' Schlagenheim'' by Black Midi and ''Dogrel'' by Fontaines D.C. Carey previously produced for London-based labels Dust Records, Dust2Dust and DMI. He was also one half of the group Danmass, which released music on all three labels and Skint Records. Dan Carey (curler)
Daniel J. Carey (born March 19, 1954 in Winnipeg) is a Canadian curler. He is a Canadian former Curling Champion and 4-time Manitoba Provincial Curling Champion. He played third for Vic Peters in 1992, defeating Jim Ursel in the Manitoba Provincial Championship final. The foursome went on to defeat Russ Howard in the 1992 Brier final, becoming the last rookie team to win the Brier until Kevin Koe did it 18 years later (2010). Carey (along with Peters, Chris Neufeld, and Don Rudd) returned to the Brier in 1993, but were eliminated in tiebreakers after a much-contested CCA rule change that cost them their first-place finish after the Round Robin. Daniel Edwin Carey (born May 10, 1961) is an American musician and songwriter. He is the drummer for the American rock band Tool.
