Bishop Damián Nannini is the current serving bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of San Miguel (Argentina), Roman Catholic Diocese of San Miguel, Argentina. Early life and education Damián was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Rosario on 15 September 1961. He completed his studies from ''Sagrado Corazón'' College of Rosario and ''an Carlos Borromeo'' Seminary in Rosario. He holds a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome. Priesthood Damián was ordained a priest on 15 December 1989 by Jorge Manuel López. Jorge Manuel López
Jorge Manuel López (5 June 1918 – 22 December 2006) was a bishop. He was born in Rosario, Santa Fe Province, where he was ordained priest in 1942. He was appointed auxiliary bishop in the city's diocese on 20 May 1968. He then led the Archdiocese of Corrientes, starting on 5 April 1972, and was appointed Archbishop of Rosario on 19 January 1983, where he served for ten years. He retired from this post upon reaching the age of 75, on 20 November 1993.
