	Damir Čerkić Damir Čerkić (born 14 February 1969 in Mostar) is a former Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player, from the late 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s. Club career Čerkić was product of Velež Mostar youth system and after spending two and a half seasons in first team of Velež, in spring of 1991 he joined Hajduk Split Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football.
