Damiera
Damiera was a four piece indie math rock band from Buffalo, New York that formed in 2005. They released two albums and an EP while touring around North America. The group disbanded in 2009 History Damiera was formed in February 2005, by David Raymond and ex-guitarist/vocalist Matthew Kipp after the disbandment of their previous project, League. After a short while the two invited Bradley McRae, to join the line-up. Bassist Mark Henry, was added only a short while after. By late May 2005, the band had played a handful of shows, self-produced their debut EP "Damiera EP", and booked a two-month tour. Kipp left the band at the conclusion of Damiera's first tour to pursue different interests. In 2005, Rock Whittington, a guitarist from New Orleans joined the band for two months of rehearsals. In February 2006 with Jayson Dezuzio (Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance) recording the debut LP M(US)IC that was released on Equal Vision Records in January 2007. The band embarked on a s ...

Hidden Hospitals is an alternative progressive rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was originally formed from members of the bands Damiera and Kiss Kiss (band). They released their first Extended play, EP, ''EP 001'', in September 2011. They played their first show September 6, 2011 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. Their next album, ''EP 002'', was released in October 2012. Hidden Hospitals has supported many national acts including Blindside (band), Hot Rod Circuit, Cartel (band), Middle Class Rut, Now, Now, Kevin Devine and The Used. 2013 saw the band release EP 001 + EP 002 on a combined vinyl and go on two national tours in support of the release. Evan Weiss
Into It. Over It. is the indie rock solo project of the Chicago, Illinois-based musician Evan Thomas Weiss. It is considered one of the top acts in the emo revival scene of the 2010s. History Evan Weiss grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. His first exposure to emo was hearing the band Sunny Day Real Estate in the seventh grade while browsing a record shop. He continued his interest in music by buying Jade Tree and Polyvinyl recordings and going to local shows in Philadelphia. In the fourth or fifth grade, Weiss started the band J.A.R. with school friends; it eventually became The Progress and garnered modest local success. The Progress released an album and two EPs before breaking up in 2008. The Progress later reunited sporadically to perform one-off live shows. Equal Vision Records
Equal Vision Records is an independent record label based in Albany, New York. It was founded in the early 1990s by Ray Cappo, singer for the punk bands Youth of Today, Shelter, and Better Than a Thousand. The label originally existed solely to distribute Shelter and other Krishna releases. In 1992, label manager Steve Reddy bought Equal Vision from Cappo. The focus was expanded and a wider variety of bands were brought on board. According to ''Punk News'', the mid-to-late '90s saw a redoubling of the Equal Vision's hardcore efforts with such signings as One King Down and Ten Yard Fight. By the end of the '90s Equal Vision Records (EVR) had a stable of hardcore and punk bands, having added Bane, Trial, Converge and Saves the Day to its roster in the latter part of the decade.
