Damien Perrinelle
Damien Perrinelle (born 12 September 1983 in Suresnes) is a French football defender. Career France Born in Suresnes, in the western suburbs of Paris, Perrinelle began his career in the youth system of Amiens and in 2004 joined US Créteil with whom he made his professional debut. In 2005, he joined Ligue 2 side Clermont Foot, where he stayed just one season before moving to US Boulogne, then of the Championnat National. He spent four seasons at Boulogne, and was part of the team that won promotion to Ligue 2 in 2007 and promotion to Ligue 1 in 2009 under manager Philippe Montanier. On the final match day of the 2007–08 Ligue 2 season Perinelle scored a famous goal for Boulogne in a home match against Chamois Niortais FC, who were one place above Boulogne. Suresnes
Suresnes () is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, Île-de-France. Located in Hauts-de-Seine, from the centre of Paris, it had a population of 49,145 as of 2016. 2007–08 Ligue 2
The Ligue 2 season 2007–08 was the sixty-sixth since its establishment, and started in August 2007. The fixtures were announced in June 2007. FC Metz, the champions of Ligue 2, SM Caen, and RC Strasbourg were promoted to France's top division Ligue 1. Whereas, Troyes AC, CS Sedan, and FC Nantes were relegated to Ligue 2. The first matches of the season were played on 27 July 2007, and the season ended on 16 May 2008. The new Ligue 2 champions were crowned on 2 May 2008 when Le Havre AC drew with Montpellier HSC following FC Nantes's loss to Amiens SC that same day. As champions, Le Havre will be promoted to France's highest football division Ligue 1 for the upcoming 2008-09 season. 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs
The 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs (officially the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs for sponsorship reasons) was the 20th post-season tournament culminating the Major League Soccer regular season. The tournament began on October 28 with D.C. United defeating New England Revolution and culminated on December 6, 2015 with MLS Cup 2015, the twentieth league championship match for MLS. Twelve teams (top 6 per conference) competed, up from 10 the last 3 seasons. The first round of each conference had the third-seeded team hosting the sixth seed, while the fourth-seed hosts the fifth, in a single match to determine who advances to the Conference Semifinals. The Supporters' Shield is an annual award given to the Major League Soccer team with the best regular season record, as determined by the MLS points system.
