Damien Hill
Damien Hill is a three-time Shute Shield winning coach, and was formerly the head coach of the Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby franchise. Initially appointed as an assistant coach with the club in 2011, Hill was appointed head coach after the resignation of inaugural Rebels coach Rod Macqueen at the end of 2011. He is currently the head coach of Japanese side Ricoh Black Rams in the Top League. Raised in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Hill was a successful player of Australian rules football at a junior level and played in the Teal Cup for NSW Country. Educated at Sacred Heart and St Michael's Primary Schools and Trinity Senior High School, Hill began studying law at Sydney University but completed a degree in sports science (coaching) at the University of Canberra. Sydney University Football Club
The Sydney University Football Club, founded in 1863, is the oldest club now playing rugby union in Australia, although this date is disputed by historian Tom Hickie who argues that it was 1865. Sydney Uni was a member of the inaugural Sydney club competition in 1874, along with the Balmain RFC, Balmain Rugby Union Football Club, Newington College and The King's School, Sydney, The King's School. The club currently competes in the Shute Shield competition and has the most senior premiership titles of all Sydney clubs. The Blues (known as the Auckland Blues from 1996 to 2000) is a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Auckland, who play in the Super Rugby competition. Nic Henderson
Nic Henderson (born 1 May 1981), is an Australian rugby union player. He played with the Brumbies before joining the Melbourne Rebels for the 2011 and 2012 Super Rugby seasons. Nicholas James Phipps (born 9 January 1989) is an Australian rugby union player who played for the Australia national team and plays for Green Rockets Tokatsu in the Japan Rugby League One competition. Early life Phipps was educated at The King's School and in 2009 captained Sydney University's premiership-winning 1st Colts team. Gareth Leon Delve (born 30 December 1982) is a former Wales international rugby union player, and former captain of Gloucester. In late 2010, he moved to Australia where he went on to captain the Melbourne Rebels. His usual position is number 8. The Highlanders (formerly the Otago Highlanders) is a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Dunedin that compete in Super Rugby.
