Damian Zbozień
Damian Zbozień (born 25 April 1989) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Górnik Łęczna. Besides Poland, he has played in Russia. Club career Born in Limanowa, Zbozień began his career as a youth player for Zyndram Łącko. Then he played for two years in Sandecja Nowy Sącz youth teams. In 2007 Zbozień joined Legia Warsaw and on 30 July 2007 he made his Młoda Ekstraklasa debut in a 3–1 loss to Cracovia. Three months later, on 4 December 2007 he made his debut for Legia first team in a 2–0 victory over ŁKS Łódź in Ekstraklasa Cup. On 7 April 2008 Zbozień scored his first goal in a 2–1 victory over GKS Bełchatów in Młoda Ekstraklasa. He ended the 2007–08 season with 27 appearances in that competition and one in Ekstraklasa Cup. Limanowa
Limanowa (german: Ilmenau, yi, לימינוב ''Liminuv'') is a small town in southern Poland, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is the capital of Limanowa County and had a population of 15,132 in 2012. History Mentions of the town date back to 1496, when it was documented as Ilmanowa, a rural estate that belonged to members of the szlachta. In 1520, ownership of the estate was passed from the Słupski family to Achacy Jordan, who subsequently established a judiciary. Limanowa became a township in 1565, after being granted Magdeburg Rights, city rights by King Sigismund II Augustus. Ekstraklasa Cup
The Ekstraklasa Cup ( pl, Puchar Ekstraklasy) was an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs who play in the Polish 1st Division Ekstraklasa. The Ekstraklasa Cup was the fourth attempt at introducing a League Cup competition in Poland. The first such tournament was a one-off tournament held in 1952 which Wawel Kraków won. Two other tournaments have also been held, the League Cup (1977–1978) and the Polish League Cup (1999–2002), these two tournaments mainly being cancelled after lack of interest from fans. A League Cup competition was again tried with the Ekstraklasa Cup in 2006, however this tournament again saw little interest from fans and the cup competition was cancelled in 2009 after the broadcasting rights expired. The 2018 Polish Super Cup was the 28th Polish Super Cup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. It was held on 14 July 2018 between the 2017–18 Ekstraklasa and 2017–18 Polish Cup winners Legia Warsaw and the 2017–18 Polish Cup runners-up Arka Gdynia at Legia's home, the Stadion Wojska Polskiego in Warsaw. Arka played its second Super Cup match, while Legia played its 13th and sixth consecutive Super Cup. It was a rematch of the previous Super Cup edition, during which Arka ended their first Super Cup appearance with a victory. The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2021, the Polish Super Cup has been played 31 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant are Legia Warsaw, as they played fourteen final games and have lost their eight following finals since 2012. Unlike in Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Stadion Narodowy im.
