''Full Bloom'' is the fourth studio album and the eighth overall studio album release by South Korean girl group Kara. It was released on September 2, 2013, with the song "Damaged Lady" used as the lead single. The song "Runaway" was released two weeks earlier, on August 21, as a preview for it. It is also the last Korean album to feature members Nicole Jung and Kang Ji-young who departed the group in 2014, though they would rejoin the group in 2022. The album was released one week later after the group's fourth Japanese studio album, '' Fantastic Girls''. Kara (Hangul: 카라, Japanese: カラ, often stylized as KARA) is a South Korean pop girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group's final lineup was composed of Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara and Youngji. Members Nicole and Jiyoung officially departed from the group in 2014, but rejoined the group for their 15th anniversary in 2022, while ex-member Sunghee left in 2008. The group originally started off as a quartet and made their debut in March 2007 with their first studio album ''The First Blooming'' and its single "Break It" while displaying a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. The ''MBC Gayo Daejejeon'' () is an annual, end-of-the-year South Korean music show broadcast by the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). The event was first held in 1966 as a singing competition, but MBC stopped giving out awards in 2005. History The event was first held in 1966 as the ''MBC Ten Singers Match'' (Hangul: MBC 10대 가수 청백전). It was a competition among ten singers, with the winner being awarded the "King of Ten Singers." It was broadcast live on MBC radio from the Seoul Citizens Hall. The event was broadcast on television starting in 1970. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart. The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by '' Billboard'' in conjunction with ''Billboard'' Korea () on August 25, 2011. It is the second Asian ''Billboard'' chart after the Japan Hot 100. The chart used the same multimetric methodology as the US Hot 100 and rankings were compiled based on Hanteo Chart data, streaming and download data from Naver VIBE, and domestic radio and television music playback data. ''Rock U'' (also known as ''Kara 1st Mini Album'') is the first extended play by South Korean girl group Kara. It was released on July 25, 2008. ''Rock U'' was released as the lead single. This was also the first album to feature the two new members of the group; Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara, following the departure of former member Kim Sunghee. The release also showed a big transition from the group's original "strong female" image to a "cute and natural" appeal, shifting from the R&B sound of their debut to bubblegum pop.
