Dallas Vigilantes
The Dallas Vigilantes were an Arena Football League (AFL) team based in Dallas, Texas. Like its AFL predecessor, the Dallas Desperados, the Vigilantes played at the American Airlines Center. The Vigilantes and the Jacksonville Sharks began play in the 2010 season, the first after the league's restructuring. The franchise was owned by former Tampa Bay Storm owner Peter C. Kern and was managed by Stephen Evans. Vigilantes games were broadcast on the radio on 1190 AM and television coverage was provided by Time Warner Cable Sports. History The Vigilantes did not carry on the name of Dallas' previous AFL team, the Dallas Desperados, because of a unique ownership situation with the former team. 2011 Arena Football League Season
The 2011 Arena Football League season was the 24th season in the history of the league. The regular season began on March 11, 2011 and ended on July 23, 2011. The Jacksonville Sharks, in their second year of existence, defeated the Arizona Rattlers 73–70 in ArenaBowl XXIV on August 12, 2011 to conclude the playoffs. League business Teams Three franchises that competed in the 2008 season, the Philadelphia Soul, San Jose SaberCats, and Kansas City Command (formerly the Kansas City Brigade), returned to competition in the 2011 season, after an announcement made on June 19, 2010. Jerry Jones
Jerral Wayne Jones (born October 13, 1942) is an American businessman who has been the owner, president, and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) since February 1989. Early life Jones was born in Los Angeles, California, to John "Pat" and Armenita Jones. The family moved back to North Little Rock, Arkansas in 1945. His parents owned two branches of Pat's Super Market in the Rose City neighborhood of North Little Rock. Jones was a running back at North Little Rock High School, graduating in 1960. DeAndrew Rubin
DeAndrew T. Rubin Sr. (born October 9, 1978) is a former American football wide receiver and defensive back. Rubin attended Dixie Hollins High School in Saint Petersburg, Florida and the University of South Florida and was a Starting lineup, starting receiver after being redshirted in 1999 in sports, 1999. Anthony Keith "Tiger" Jones (born May 21, 1982) is a former American football wide receiver who played eight seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at Louisville Cardinals football, Louisville. He was a member of the Washington Redskins (2005), and was in Training Camp with the Philadelphia Eagles (2012). Professional career Philadelphia Eagles Jones signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on July 22, 2012. He was released in August 2012. Luke Drone (born December 18, 1984) is a former American football quarterback. He was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Illinois State. Early years Drone attended Mt. Carmel High School, Illinois, and was a four-year starter in baseball and a three-year starter in football and basketball. As a senior, he threw 30 TDs and passed for over 2,000 yards, while rushing for over 1,000 yards with 15 TDs. Drone was a First-team All-State selection and was academic All-State as well. A revolver (also called a wheel gun) is a repeating handgun that has at least one barrel and uses a revolving cylinder containing multiple chambers (each holding a single cartridge) for firing.
