Dalibor Karvay
Dalibor Karvay is a Slovak violinist and pedagogue at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien. Biography Karvay was born on 24 July 1985 in Vrútky, Slovakia. At the age of three, he started playing the violin under the guidance of his father. During his studies at the Primary Art School in Vrútky, he made several recordings for the Slovak Radio in Bratislava. After the special study, under the guidance of professor Bohumil Urban, he graduated at the Žilina Conservatoire and from 1999 he studied at the Vienna at the Conservatoire in the class of the renowned professor Boris Kuschnir. He also took part in numerous masterclasses led by famous paedagogists - Euduard Grach, Mintscho Mintschev and Herman Krebbers. In 2004 Karvay’s long-lasting and complicated search for the right instrument was shown in the international documentary ''Stradivari - Search for Perfection''. Vrútky
Vrútky (; german: Ruttek (rare); hu, Ruttka) is a town in northern Slovakia, close to the city of Martin. It lies in the historic Turiec region. Geography The town lies at the confluence of Váh and the Turiec, in the Turčianska kotlina, near the Malá Fatra mountain range. It is located north of the city of Martin, with which it shares a public transport system, and from Žilina. Ion Marin
Ion Marin (born 8 July 1960) is a Romanian-Austrian conductor. He is internationally renowned both in operatic and symphonic domains. Early life Born in Bucharest, son of choir conductor Constantin Marin, founder of the Madrigal Choir, Ion Marin started studying piano and violin at the age of three. He graduated the George Enescu Music College in 1979. In 1983 he graduated in composition at the National Music Academy of Bucharest, where he studied with Tiberiu Olah and Anatol Vieru. His education was completed at the Salzburg Mozarteum with Carlo Zecchi and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena with Franco Ferrara. Following his debut in 1981, he was appointed chief conductor of the Arad Philharmonic (Transylvania). Wenzel Fuchs
Wenzel Fuchs (born 1963 in Innsbruck, Austria) is an Austrian clarinetist. He studied clarinet at the Innsbruck Conservatory with Walter Kefer and at the Vienna Music Academy with Peter Schmidl. He has performed with the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Volksoper, and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. Fuchs became clarinet soloist of the Vienna Volksoper at the age of 19 and five years later solo clarinetist of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, and was appointed solo clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1993. He was principal conductor of the Czecho-Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1977 to 1990 and of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra from 1991 to 2001, where his concert work included performances of Ján Levoslav Bella's ''Wieland der Schmied''.
