Daleroy Stewart
Daleroy Andrew Stewart (born November 1, 1978) is a former American football defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers. He was also a member of the Dallas Desperados of the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi. Early years Stewart attended Vero Beach High School, where as a senior he made 95 tackles (13 for loss) and 7 sacks, while receiving All-state honors. He was invited to play in the Georgia/Florida High School All-Star Game. He also practiced the shot put and discus throw. He accepted a football scholarship from the University of Southern Mississippi. As a freshman, he appeared in 8 games as a reserve defensive lineman. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. 2003 NFL Season
The 2003 NFL season was the 84th regular season of the National Football League (NFL). Regular-season play was held from September 4, 2003, to December 28, 2003. Due to damage caused by the Cedar Fire, Qualcomm Stadium was used as an emergency shelter, and thus the Miami–San Diego regular-season match on October 27 was instead played at Sun Devil Stadium, the home field of the Arizona Cardinals. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played annually in late January or early February in Mobile, Alabama, which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects of those players who have completed their college eligibility. The 2001 NFL Draft was the 66th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible professional football players. The draft, which is officially referred to as the "NFL Player Selection Meeting," was held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York on April 21–22, 2001. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States.
