Dale Woodhall
Dale William Edward Woodhall (born 11 March 1961) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Although he had only just turned 23 when he started playing for Collingwood, Woodhall was already a three time Queensland Australian Football League leading goal-kicker. His 85 goals in his debut QAFL season in 1977 saw him finish second behind Owen Backwell but he topped the league's tables with 81 goals in 1979, 92 goals in 1982 and 113 goals in 1983. He joined Collingwood in 1982, having previously being signed by South Melbourne back in 1978 only to remain in Brisbane. Full-forward
Full-forward is a position in Australian rules football and Gaelic football with a key focus on kicking goals. The Coleman Medal is awarded to the player, often a full-forward, who has kicked the most goals in an Australian Football League season. In modern Australian rules football and Gaelic football, in which players do not strictly stick to a single position, the full-forward is often referred to as a "Key Forward" and can often switch positions with the centre half-forward for "team balance" reasons. Woodville Football Club was an Australian rules football club that competed in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) from 1964 to 1990, when it merged in 1991 with the West Torrens Football Club to form the Woodville-West Torrens Eagles. Based in the western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, Woodville derived its name from the suburb it was located in.
