Dale McMullin
Dale McMullin (born March 13, 1955) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. McMullin was born in Procter, British Columbia, but grew up in Nelson, British Columbia. McMullin played at junior level with the Brandon Wheat Kings at scored over 100 points in a season twice. He was drafted 116th overall in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft by the Atlanta Flames and 95th overall in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft by the Phoenix Roadrunners. Winger (ice Hockey)
Winger, in the game of ice hockey, is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is along the outer playing areas. They typically flank the centre forward. Originally the name was given to forward players who went up and down the sides of the rink. Wingers generally have the least defensive responsibilities out of any position on the ice, however they are still tasked with defensive duties such as forechecking duties or covering the point in the defensive zone. Nowadays, there are different types of wingers in the game — out-and-out goal scorers, checkers who disrupt the opponents, and forwards who work along the boards and in the corners. World Hockey Association
The World Hockey Association (french: Association mondiale de hockey) was a professional ice hockey major league that operated in North America from 1972 to 1979. It was the first major league to compete with the National Hockey League (NHL) since the collapse of the Western Hockey League in 1926. Although the WHA was not the first league since that time to attempt to challenge the NHL's supremacy, it was by far the most successful in the modern era.
