Dale Ho
Dale Edwin Ho (born 1977) is an American lawyer who is the director of the American Civil Liberties Union's voting rights project. He is a nominee to be a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Early life and education Ho was born in 1977 in San Jose, California. He received his A.B. ''summa cum laude'' from Princeton University in 1999 and his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2005. Legal career Ho served as a law clerk to Judge Barbara S. Jones of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (2005–2006) and Associate Judge Robert S. Smith of the New York Court of Appeals (2006–2007). The United States census of 2020 was the twenty-fourth decennial United States census. Census Day, the reference day used for the census, was April 1, 2020. Other than a pilot study during the 2000 census, this was the first U.S. census to offer options to respond online or by phone, in addition to the paper response form used for previous censuses. The census was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected its administration.
