Dajuan Harris Jr.
Dajuan Anthony Harris Jr. (born December 11, 2000) is an American college basketball player at the University of Kansas. In 2022, Harris was the starting point guard on the Jayhawks team that won the national championship. High school career Harris attended Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri, where he helped lead the team to two straight Missouri 5A state championship game appearances, finishing runner up in 2018 and winning in 2019. Harris originally committed to playing basketball for Missouri State, but withdrew his commitment, deciding instead to play at the University of Kansas. Steal (basketball)
In basketball, a steal occurs when a defensive player legally causes a turnover by their positive, aggressive action(s). This can be done by deflecting and controlling, or by catching the opponent's pass or dribble of an offensive player. The defender must not touch the offensive player's hands or otherwise a foul is called. Steals are credited to the defensive player who first causes the turnover, even if they do not end up with possession of the live ball. To earn a steal, the defensive player must be the initiator of the action causing the turnover, not just the benefactor. The 2022–23 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which was the Jayhawks' 125th basketball season.
