Daisy Lang
Daisy Lang (born 4 April 1972) is a former professional boxer who competed from 1996 to 2004. She is a former three division world champion and was the first Bulgarian woman to capture a world title, having held the WIBF super-flyweight, bantamweight, and super-bantamweight titles between 1999 and 2004. Early life As a child, Lang was involved in athletics and had great data on sprints in the 200 and 400 meters, but gave up the sport after she was forced, along with her teammates, to wait in sub-zero temperatures for her coach, who at times would not show up for training. She was attracted to sports and therefore practiced Judo, but a few years later she was attracted to Taekwondo. Before her boxing career, Lang competed as a martial artist. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. Ostseehalle
The Wunderino-Arena (formerly known as Ostseehalle) is an indoor arena, in Kiel, Germany. It is primarily used by THW Kiel (team handball) and as a venue for rock/pop concerts. It holds up to 13,500 people. History Construction was determined in 1950 by the Kiel council meeting. The Osteseehalle was initiated on 17 June 1951, during the Kiel Week and was eventually finished in 1952. For this purpose, the steel construction of a retired airplane hangar, from an airbase on the island Sylt, was dismantled and brought to Kiel. Over the course of decades, the arena was constantly redeveloped, and since renovations finished in September 2001, it is now "prepared for the next 50 years", according to the operators. Regina Halmich (born 22 November 1976) is a German boxer. She is among the most successful female boxers of all time and helped popularise female boxing in Europe. Amateur career Halmich was German champion in kickboxing as an amateur in 1992, 1993 and 1994, a year in which she also earned the European title. Michele Aboro (born 17 July 1967) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1995 to 2001. She retired an undefeated world champion, having held the WIBF super-bantamweight title from 2000 to 2001.
