Filip Daems (; born 31 October 1978) is a Belgian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. Club career Daems kicked off his career with K.F.C. Verbroedering Geel, Verbroedering Geel in 1995, staying with the club till 1998 in the Belgian second division. Anja Daems (born 26 May 1968) is a Belgian radio presenter and television host. Biography Daems spent her childhood in Geel. She studied at the Conservatory in Antwerp. During her last year of study she started working as a reporter at Radio 2. Later she presented on Radio 2, among others, ''Schijfje citroen'' and ''Soes''. Willem Frans Daems, PhD (3 December 1911 – 29 December 1994) was a pharmacist, anthroposophist, pianist, teacher and editor. Life Daems was born in Amsterdam. His grandfather owned a furniture factory and his six sons trained to joiners. His father worked as a hospital administrator and this brought Willem, his eldest son, into familiarity with the medical world. He studied pharmacy in Amsterdam and wrote his doctorate thesis on the pharmaceutical history of medicinal plants acting as cardiac stimulants. He was also interested in history and linguistics. He had a feeling for art, music and rhetoric.
