Khanbaliq
Khanbaliq or Dadu of Yuan () was the winter capital of the Yuan dynasty of China in what is now Beijing, also the capital of the People's Republic of China today. It was located at the center of modern Beijing. The Secretariat directly administered the Central Region () of the Yuan Empire (comprising present-day Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, and parts of Henan and Inner Mongolia) and dictated policies for the other provinces. Kublai and his successors also claimed supremacy over the entire Mongol Empire following the death of Möngke (Kublai's brother and predecessor) in 1259. Over time the unified empire gradually fragmented into a number of khanates. Khanbaliq is the direct predecessor to modern Beijing. Dadu was a first-class cricket team in Pakistan from the city of Dadu in the north-west of Sindh province. They played one season of first-class and List A cricket in 2002-03. Background Dadu finished second to Multan in the second division (non-first-class) of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy in 2001-02. Sergiu Dadu (born 23 January 1981) is a Moldovan former footballer who played as a striker. He was also a member of Moldova national football team. Club career Dadu was born in Chişinău. The Dadu River (), known in Tibetan as the Gyelmo Ngul Chu, is a major river located primarily in Sichuan province, southwestern China. The Dadu flows from the eastern Tibetan Plateau into the Sichuan Basin where it joins with the Min River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. Measured from its geographic source, the Dadu is actually longer than the Min and thus forms the main stem of the Min River system. Shuangjiangkou Dam, expected to be the tallest dam in the world, is being built on the Dadu River. The Kingdom of Middag (), also known as the Kingdom of Dadu (), was a supra-tribal alliance located in the central-western plains of Taiwan in the 17th century. The Dadu Plateau (), also known as Dadu Mountain or Dadushan (), is a plateau that stretches across Taichung, Taiwan. It borders the Taichung Basin in the east and the seacoast of Taichung in the west, and lies between the Dajia River and the Dadu River. Dadu is a village located in Kalanwali tehsil of Sirsa District, Haryana, India. It is situated at 42 km north of its district capital Sirsa, and 8 km southeast of Kalanwali and 18 km from Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib. The village is near the northern edge of Haryana, and borders Bathinda District of Punjab to its north.
