Dacia Jogger
The Dacia Jogger is a car produced and marketed jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia. Its nameplate was revealed in August 2021 as a successor to the Logan MCV and Lodgy in the compact MPV market segment. Based on the third-generation Logan, it will be offered with five and seven seats. In 2023, a hybrid version will be offered, making it the first Dacia-branded vehicle to feature a hybrid drivetrain. While the car has some "crossover" design flourishes, it is not intended to be used as an SUV. Overview In June 2022, less than a year after its commercial release, the Jogger receives, like the entire Dacia range, a slight update revealing the brand's new logo. S.C. Automobile Dacia S.A., commonly known as Dacia (), is a Romanian car manufacturer that takes its name from the historical region that constitutes present-day Romania. The company was established in 1966. In 1999, after 33 years, the Romanian government sold Dacia to the French car manufacturer Groupe Renault. It is Romania's largest company by revenue and the largest exporter, constituting 8% of the country's total exports in 2018. In 2021, the Dacia marque sold 537,074 passenger and commercial vehicles. Dacia Vehicles
Dacia (, ; ) was the land inhabited by the Dacians, its core in Transylvania, stretching to the Danube in the south, the Black Sea in the east, and the Tisza in the west. The Carpathian Mountains were located in the middle of Dacia. It thus roughly corresponds to the present-day countries of Romania, as well as parts of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ukraine. A Dacian Kingdom of variable size existed between 82 BC until the Roman conquest in AD 106, reaching its height under King Burebista. The 2022 Paris Motor Show (in French ''Mondial de l'automobile de Paris'' or ''Mondial de l'Auto'') is an international auto show, which was held from October 18 to October 23, 2022, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in Paris, France. It is part of Paris Automotive Week, bringing together the Motor Show and the Equip Auto trade show. Presentation The 2022 show celebrates the 124th anniversary of the "International Automobile, Cycle and Sports Exhibition" born in Paris in 1898, and the 121st edition since its creation. The "2022 Paris Motor Show", the direct heir of this event, is the largest motor show in the world in terms of longevity and attendance, but also one of the rare motor shows to still exist today. Renault Arkana
The Renault Arkana is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) with a sloping rear roofline produced by the French manufacturer Renault. The car debuted in May 2019 in Russia as a car based on the older Dacia/Renault Duster B0 platform. Another separate version of the vehicle was introduced in South Korea in February 2020 as the Renault Samsung XM3 (Renault XM3 since 2022), and is based on a more advanced CMF-B platform. Renault Captur
The Renault Captur (pronounced as "capture") is a series of subcompact crossover SUVs manufactured by the French automaker Renault. The production version of the first one, based on the B platform, made its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and started to be marketed in France during April 2013. The Captur Concept was first shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Under the "same skin with different specification" strategy adopted by Renault, the Captur is available in a larger version based on the low-cost B0 platform shared with the Duster. A crossover, crossover SUV, or crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is a type of automobile with an increased ride height that is built on unibody chassis construction shared with passenger cars, as opposed to traditional sport utility vehicles (SUV) which are built on a body-on-frame chassis construction similar to pickup trucks. A term that originated from North America, the term crossover was initially used for any vehicle that blends characteristics between two different kinds of vehicles while, over time, crossover mostly refers to unibody-based SUVs. Compact MPV (an abbreviation for Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is a vehicle size class for the middle size of MPVs. The Compact MPV size class sits between the mini MPV and large MPV (minivan) size classes. Compact MPVs remain predominantly a European phenomenon, although they are also built and sold in many Latin American and Asian markets. As of 2016, the only compact MPV sold widely in the United States was the Ford C-Max. Characteristics The flexibility of the interior seating is a common theme amongst compact MPVs.
