DZWI (107.9 FM) was a radio station owned and operated by Conamor Broadcasting System. History The station was established in 2001 as Power 108. Under the management of 713 Productions, owned by Marcelle John "H-Town" Marcelino, it is the pioneer station in the Philippines and Asia to air an urban contemporary format. Throughout its existence, its studios were located in Mandaluyong. The station and logo took its name from Los Angeles-based Power 106. Days after its broadcast, it gained fame among hip hop enthusiasts around Metro Manila. Initially automated, the station started having live DJs and special programs months later. Noveleta, officially the Municipality of Noveleta ( tgl, Bayan ng Noveleta), formerly known as Tierra Alta during the Spanish colonial era, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 49,452 people. With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now included in the Manila built-up area which reaches Lipa City in its southernmost part. Francis Michael Durango Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009), also known by the moniker Francis M, was a Filipino rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, and television personality. Born in Manila, He became a significant influence to artists in the Pinoy hip-hop scene and the local rap community.
