DZBC-DTV (digital channel 30) is a television station in Metro Manila. It is owned by Byers Communications and operated by Solar Entertainment Corporation under a subchannel lease agreement. Its transmitter is located in Antipolo, Rizal. The station is inactive as of January 2022. History Prior to its resurface, Byers was assigned on UHF 68 by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). In 1992, Byers launched Intervision on Channel 68 as a UHF pay television service. A year later, however, ceased its operations due to an intense competition with cable operators, particularly Sky Cable. In 2018, the NTC granted Byers Communications a television license assigned on UHF 30 for pay television purposes. Solar Entertainment and Byers signed an agreement wherein Solar will operate multiple subchannels on UHF 30 via digital terrestrial transmission. DepEd TV
Department of Education TV (known as DepEd TV) was a Philippine educational UHF television channel of the Department of Education (DepEd) with the assistance of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO). It was launched on August 11, 2020, beginning its test broadcast. Following the postponement of the starting date of classes however, the block was suspended to October 5 of the same year. History DepEd announced the initialization of educational classes through blended learning in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting (ISDB; Japanese: , ''Tōgō dejitaru hōsō sābisu'') is a Japanese broadcasting standard for digital television (DTV) and digital radio. ISDB supersedes both the NTSC-J analog television system and the previously used MUSE Hi-vision analog HDTV system in Japan. An improved version of ISDB-T (ISDB-T International) will soon replace the NTSC, PAL-M, and PAL-N broadcast standards in South America and the Philippines. Rizal, officially the Province of Rizal ( fil, Lalawigan ng Rizal), is a province in the Philippines located in the Calabarzon region in Luzon. Its capital is the city of Antipolo.
