DXMX (105.9 FM) was a radio station owned and operated by Oriental Mindoro Management Resources Corporation. Its studios were located at Doors 4 and 5, RJ Homes Bldg., Pelayo St., Davao City. History 2000 - 2013: Mix FM The station was established in 2000 by former Magic 89.9 personality and current head of the Philippine Broadcasting Service Rizal "Bong" Aportadera, Jr. (known on-air as "Sonny B") and Randall Ong as Red Hot Mix FM 105.9. Aportadera once served as city information officer at Davao City's local government. In 2005, the "Red Hot" was eventually dropped and it was simply known as "105.9 Mix FM". On that same year, Mix FM became the number one radio station in the city. In addition, Mix FM added legendary Los Angeles radio disc jockey Rick Dees, who hosts the Rick Dees' Weekly Top 40 countdown. "Keeping the Dream Alive" is a 1988 song by German pop and rock band Münchener Freiheit – also known as Freiheit in English-speaking countries – taken from their album ''Fantasy''. The music was written by Aron Strobel and Stefan Zauner with lyrics by Timothy Touchton and Curtis Briggs, and the song was arranged by Andrew Powell, Armand Volker and Stefan Zauner. It was recorded in Abbey Road Studios and mastered by Tonstudio Rico Sonderegger, with Volker as the producer. DXLL (94.7 FM), broadcasting as 94.7 Power Radio, is a radio station owned by Rizal Memorial Colleges Broadcasting Corporation and operated by Christian Media Management, a subsidiary of Laforteza Group of Companies. The station's studio and transmitter are located along Broadcast Ave., Shrine Hills, Matina, Davao City. History The station was established in 1995 as Mellow Touch 94.7 under the ownership of FBS Radio Network. The station closed in late 2006 due to poor management that led to bankruptcy. Münchener Freiheit (known sometimes simply as Freiheit) is a German pop and rock band that had released nineteen studio albums by 2016, four of which have gone gold.
