MOR Entertainment is a national brand of new media radio station owned and operated by media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. As a broadcast radio network, MOR stations primarily played contemporary middle-of-the-road and original Pinoy music, as well as radio drama and talk content (news content via TV Patrol Regional was also available on selected stations). MOR started in 2001 as the FM brand of ABS-CBN Regional and terrestrially operated 15 radio stations in the Philippines. Since the forced shutdown of ABS-CBN brought about by the congressional denial of its franchise, MOR resurfaced as an online radio station since September 14, 2020, with operations on Facebook Live via MOR's respective city Facebook pages and a dedicated channel (MOR TV) on Kumu, a Philippine-based mobile streaming service. DWRR-FM (pronounced as DW-double-R; 101.9 FM Stereo), broadcasting as MOR 101.9, was a commercial radio station owned by ABS-CBN Corporation and previously operated by the Manila Radio division and the Star Creatives Group. Broadcast live throughout the Philippine archipelago, and throughout the world via The Filipino Channel (TFC), it was the flagship FM station of MOR Philippines and the number 1 FM radio station in Metro Manila, Mega Manila as well as the entire Philippines according to KBP Radio Research Council. The ABS-CBN franchise renewal controversy is a national dispute in the Philippines regarding the renewal of the congressional franchise that would have allowed Philippine media network ABS-CBN to continue broadcasting. Disputes between the government of President Rodrigo Duterte and ABS-CBN arose on the terms and conditions of the franchise renewal agreement.
