DAT LT, formerly named ''DOT LT'', is an airline from Lithuania, that offers worldwide ACMI services using a small fleet of passenger aircraft. It is a subsidiary of Danish DAT. History The airline was established and started operations in 2003 as ''Danu Oro Transportas'' with assistance from its majority shareholder DAT Danish Air Transport. On 13 April 2006, it was rebranded as DOT LT, and in 2019 as DAT LT. The company has 60 employees (at February 2010)Flight International 3 April 2007 and is a member of the European Regions Airline Association. Destinations DAT LT no longer operate scheduled services. The fleet is leased out and operate non-scheduled flights according to the respective contracts. DAT A/S, formerly named ''Danish Air Transport'', is a Danish airline headquartered in Vamdrup, Kolding Municipality, operating scheduled and chartered passenger and cargo flights mainly from airports in Denmark. History DAT was founded as ''Danish Air Transport'' and started operations in 1989, initially as a cargo airline. Soon special operations like the transport of live horses or supplies for the Paris Dakar Rally in Africa were offered, too. Passenger charter flights were added in 1994, with the subsequent launch of scheduled services on 18 November, 1996. Since 2003, DAT also owns DAT LT which has a single ATR aircraft and operates under its own AOC. An aircraft registration is a code unique to a single aircraft, required by Chicago Convention, international convention to be marked on the exterior of every civil aircraft. The Saab 340 is a Swedish twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed and initially produced by Saab AB and Fairchild Aircraft. It is designed to seat 30-36 passengers and, as of July 2018, there were 240 operational aircraft used by 34 different operators. Florø Airport ( nn, Florø lufthamn, ) is a regional airport serving the town of Florø in Kinn Municipality, in the west central part of Vestland county, Norway.
