Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam
The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (; DMK) is a political party based in the state of Tamil Nadu where it is currently the ruling party having a comfortable majority without coalition support and the union territory of Puducherry where it is currently the main opposition. It is also one of the two main political parties in Tamil Nadu, along with the rival All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Since the 2021 state election, it has been the ruling party of Tamil Nadu. The DMK was founded on 17 September 1949 by the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu C. N. Annadurai (Anna) as a breakaway faction from the Dravidar Kazhagam headed by E. V. Ramasami (Periyar). DMK was headed by Annadurai as the general secretary from 1949 until his death on 4 February 1969. He also served as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu from 1967 to 1969. Don Mueang International Airport ( th, ท่าอากาศยานดอนเมือง, , , or colloquially as , ) is one of two international airports serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the other one being Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Before Suvarnabhumi opened in 2006, Don Mueang was previously known as Bangkok International Airport ( th, ท่าอากาศยานกรุงเทพ, ). The airport is considered to be one of the world's oldest international airports and Asia's oldest operating airport. It was officially opened as a Royal Thai Air Force base on 27 March 1914, although it had been in use earlier. Commercial flights began in 1924, making it one of the world's oldest commercial airports. The airport consists of Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic flights which are connected by a unique glass exterior elevated walkway. DMK (band)
DMK are a Depeche Mode tribute band formed in 2010 in Bogotá, Colombia, featuring Dicken Schrader (lead vocals, keyboard, xylophone, ukulele, percussion), his daughter Milah Schrader (background vocals, recorder, melodica, ukulele, percussion) and his son Korben Schrader (background vocals, toy keyboard, xylophone, toy accordion, percussion). DMK is noted for crudely emulating the sounds of Depeche Mode using an old keyboard and various toys and household items as instruments. The band became an internet sensation in January, 2012, following the release of their third cover video, "Everything Counts." Since their viral success, DMK have been invited to perform in front of live audiences in Colombia, the United States, Spain, Poland and Germany. Jens David Joacim Moberg Karlsson (born 20 March 1994) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a winger or a forward for Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki, on loan from Urawa Red Diamonds. He has won three caps and scored one goal for the Sweden national team. Denmark Hill Railway Station
Denmark Hill railway station is in the area of Denmark Hill in south London, England, on the South London and Catford Loop lines. It is down the line from . It is managed by Thameslink. History The station was built between 1864 and 1866. Its design by Charles Henry Driver is in the Italianate style, with an extremely decorative frontage and French pavilion roofs. In 1920 the waiting room was used by ''The Mystical Church of the Comforter'', founded by Elizabeth Mary Eagle Skinner, who was known as "The Messenger". The waiting room was transformed by an altar, painted white and surrounded by the seven colours of the rainbow. The ''Nottingham Evening Post'' for 17 June 1926 reported that babies were baptised, funeral services were read and even a marriage was solemnised. The porters and clerks of the railway company often worked to the accompaniment of hymns sung by the congregation.
