DKB Ghana
DKB Ghana originally born Derick Kobina Bonney on September 3, 1985, is a Ghanaian stand-up comedy act, TV presenter, actor, and event host. He has been touted as the new ''King of Ghana Comedy'' by Kwaku Sintim-Misa who is a Ghanaian satire-comedy innovator veteran. DKB's popularity was enhanced when he represented Ghana at Big Brother Africa (season 7) in 2012. Early life DKB Ghana was born in the Ghana's capital city of Accra on September 3, 1985, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital to Caroline Mensah and Harry Jerry Bonney, both Ga-Adangbe people of Ghana. The University of Ghana is a public university located in Accra, Ghana. It the oldest and largest of the thirteen Ghanaian national public universities. Viasat 1 was a Ghanaian television channel owned by the Swedish listed media group, Modern Times Group (MTG). It was replaced by '' Kwesé Free Sports'' in 2016. The channel was awarded a licence from the National Communications Authority of the Republic of Ghana in December 2007 and started broadcasting on December 12, 2008, on 6 p.m. The first programme on the channel was the movie ''Duma'', followed by ''The Cosby Show'', '' Friends'' and ''CSI: Crime Scene Investigation''. Viasat 1 was MTG's first venture in Africa and became the fifth terrestrial television network in Ghana after GTV, Metro TV, TV3 and TV Africa. Observational Comedy
Observational comedy is a form of humor based on the commonplace aspects of everyday life. It is one of the main types of humor in stand-up comedy. In an observational comedy act, the comedian makes an observation about something which is common enough to be familiar to their audience, but not commonly discussed. Such observations are typically presented with the phrase "Have you ever noticed...?" or "Did you ever notice...?" which has become a comedy cliché.
