DK1 Rigs
The DK1 Platforms (), abbreviated from cụm Dịch vụ kinh tế - Khoa học kỹ thuật (), are a collection of offshore platforms built by Vietnam in the southern continental shelf of the country in the South China Sea. The rigs are complex steel structures composed of logistics and living facilities, manned by Vietnam People's Navy personnel. Background In response to the PRC's expansion into the South China Sea (SCS), in the mid 1980s, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam predicted the need for it to protect itself. This led to the planning of, and in 1989, establishment of, the first DK1 rig. National Road 1 (Poland)
National road 1 ( pl, Droga krajowa nr 1) is a route in the Polish national road network. The highway connects the northern and southern regions of Poland, running from Gdańsk to Zwardoń at the Slovak border, traversing the Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Łódź and Silesian voivodeships. It has four bridges over the Vistula river. Most of the national road 1 is a component of European highway E75. From Gdańsk to Piotrków Trybunalski, the road has a motorway standard and is marked as A1 motorway. From Piotrków Trybunalski to Katowice, it is part of the '' Gierkówka'' route - a dual carriageway road constructed in the 1970s not up to motorway standard, marked as National road 1.
