DJ Edwin
Edwin Campbell X Morrow, Note: User may have to click 'Search again' and provide details at 'Enter a title:' e.g BB Boys and BB Girls; or at 'Performer:' Sexing the Cherry (29 June 196816 March 2014) known professionally as DJ Edwin, was a DJ, remixer, songwriter and producer. As a DJ he pioneered the Brisbane dance music and club scene, along with DJ Angus and DJ Kesson, in the late 1980s. In the 1990s Edwin created the ''Halloween'' and ''Adrenalin'' dance parties and the all-female DJ party, ''Adrenalene''. He was a long-term resident DJ at The Beat and Rockafella's nightclubs in Fortitude Valley. Edwin wrote and produced electronic dance music and hard house under a variety of names including Mister Morrow, Eggo & Hot Pocket (with DJ Jen-E), Eco Cops, and Nu Guerilla. Heartbreak High
''Heartbreak High'' is an Australian television program created by Michael Jenkins and Ben Gannon that ran from 1994 to 1996 on Network Ten and 1997 to 1999 on the ABC, for seven series. It was also partially funded from 1996 by BBC2, with some episodes airing in the UK ahead of their Australian release. The drama has been described as more gritty and fast-paced than many of its contemporaries, and follows the lives of students and staff at a multicultural Sydney high school. BeXta is the performance name of Rebecca Elizabeth Poulsen, a trance and hard dance, DJ and producer. She studied classical music and music technology before turning to electronic dance music from 1992. BeXta established her own label, Mixology Digital, in 2000. Biography Rebecca Elizabeth Poulsen studied at Queensland Conservatorium of Music for a Bachelor of Sonology. She started creating her own music using keyboards and computers in 1992 and started performing live as BeXta in 1993. BeXta extended her talents to DJing in 1997 and her first weekly residency was Plastic in Sydney in 1998. In 1995 she released her first single, "Lunar Tango", on an independent label in Melbourne. She supported shows by Björk and by Prodigy. Her debut album, ''beXtaIsm'', was issued on a music cassette in that same year.
