DJ Douggpound
Doug Lussenhop (born March 8, 1973), known professionally as DJ Douggpound, is an American musician, video editor, and comedian. Doug is best known as the editor for ''Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!'', that features his trademark editing style, which the show is known for. Doug edited and acted in many Tim & Eric projects including ''Tom Goes to the Mayor'', ''Tim and Eric Nite Live'', and their feature film, ''Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie''. Early life Doug was born and raised in Darien, Illinois. His early work includes collaborating with Eric Fensler in the creation of his ''GI Joe'' PSA's parodies. Doug attended the College of DuPage and Columbia College Chicago where he studied film. After college Doug and David Dobie founded Heaven Gallery, a small art gallery in Chicago. Darien, Illinois
Darien is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 22,011. A southwestern suburb of Chicago, Darien was named after the town of Darien, Connecticut. Darien is just north of I-55 and Historic U.S. Route 66 (now Frontage Road). The entire south edge of the town borders Waterfall Glen. History The first people to settle in Darien came from New England via the Erie Canal and Great Lakes. Among the first to arrive was the Andres Neiman, the Rapones, and the Capra family. Super Deluxe was an entertainment company owned by Turner Broadcasting. The company's main output was in online video, television series, and documentaries. History Turner Broadcasting System announced the launch of Super Deluxe, a digital comedy website, in October 2006. Super Deluxe was first launched on January 17, 2007 and featured digital shorts by comedians including Bob Odenkirk, Maria Bamford, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. ''The Champs'' is a comedy podcast hosted by Neal Brennan, Moshe Kasher, and until 2013 DJ Douggpound (Doug Lussenhop of the Tim and Eric Show). It is part of the All Things Comedy podcast network. Mark Moshe Kasher (born July 6, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor based in the Los Angeles area. He is the author of the 2012 memoir ''Kasher in the Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16''. In 2009, iTunes named Kasher "Best New Comic" and his comedy album ''Everyone You Know Is Going to Die, and Then You Are!'' was ranked one of the top 20 comedy albums on iTunes that same year. Neal Brennan (born October 19, 1973) is an American comedian, writer, producer, director, and podcaster. He is best known for co-creating and co-writing the Comedy Central series ''Chappelle's Show'' (2003–2006) with Dave Chappelle and for his Netflix stand-up comedy special ''3 Mics'' (2017). Gnar Tapes
Gnar Tapes is an independent record label based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Gnar Tapes began releasing solely audio cassette tapes from many Portland-based artists, though it has branched out to releasing artists from around the world via cassette, vinyl, digital, and compact disc. The label was founded in 2008 by Erik Gage, who was 18 years old at the time, in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. When creating Gnar Tapes, Gage was inspired by DIY tape-culture and based the label's distribution on hand-to-hand trading and mail art. When Gage was in high school, he and his bandmates in White Fang would skip class to intern at Marriage Records.
