Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction
, also abbreviated as ''DDDD'', is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Inio Asano. It was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine ''Big Comic Spirits'' from April 2014 to February 2022, with its chapters collected in 12 volumes. Viz Media licensed the manga for English release in North America. The story follows two young women, initially high school seniors and later college students, struggling with the mundanity of life after an alien spaceship appears over Japan. A two-part anime film adaptation produced by Production +h. premiered its first part in March 2024, with the second part premiering in May of the same year. An 18-episode original net animation (ONA) series edition of the films streamed worldwide on Crunchyroll from May to September 2024. By March 2022, ''Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction'' had over 3 million copies in circulation. Incapacitants
are a Japanese noise music group formed in 1981. Initially a solo project of Toshiji Mikawa, Fumio Kosakai joined upon the project's relocation to Tokyo. The duo's stated aim is to produce "pure" noise, uninfluenced by musical ideas or even human intention, using primarily feedback, vocals, and various electronics. Kosakai calls this sound "hard noise", as a nod to the jazz subgenre hard bop. History In 1981, Toshiji Mikawa formed Incapacitants in Osaka as a solo project from his other creative endeavours with improv noise group Hijokaidan. As a solo project, Mikawa collaborated with Japanese vocalist and visual artist Yamantaka Eye, among others. After relocating to Tokyo, Kosakai, of Japanese noise band C.C.C.C., joined Incapacitants to form the current duo. Kosakai would later join Mikawa and become a regular member of Hijokaidan. ''Dorohedoro'' is an anime television series adaptation of the manga of the same name by Q Hayashida, first announced in the December 2018 issue of Shogakukan's ''Monthly Shōnen Sunday'' magazine released on November 12, 2018. The series is produced by MAPPA and directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Tomohiro Kishi, and music composed by R.O.N of (K)NoW_NAME. It ran for 12 episodes from January 12 to March 29, 2020, on Tokyo MX. The opening theme "Welcome to Chaos" and the series' ending themes "Who am I ?"
